Running Club

The Running Club is a fun and informative club for students in third and fourth grade. The club meets on Mondays in the 300 Wing collaborative area for a snack and a short lesson about healthy food habits, running techniques, and running tips. At the end of the lesson, students are taken outside where they are provided with time to  run/walk in order to meet goals they have set for themselves.clipart of children running The meeting concludes by allowing students to continue to run/walk, or participate in a fun, active game. Any third or fourth grade student interested in Running Club may sign up by requesting and filling out a form from their homeroom teacher in the fall and spring semester.  Students are picked up at 3:30 in the bus loop. Parents MUST show their child's car tag in order to pick up a student.

This year the Running Club will participate in two fun runs, one in November, and a color run in April. Exact dates will be announced closer to time.

Third and fourth grade students rotate Monday meetings. Below are the scheduled dates for each grade level.
