We were excited to kick off the 2026–27 school year with energy, connection, and a little fun.

Our faculty and staff enjoyed a breakfast that Bojangles graciously donated  to welcome them home to the Creek. They also participated in a community building activity with a Bingo game with prizes to round out their return to school.    

Students received a warm welcome at our Meet the Teacher event with several photo booth areas to take pictures. The hallways buzzed with excitement as families met new teachers and reconnected with familiar faces.

Our teachers planned special activities to make the first day of school truly the BEST DAY EVER!

Our 4th Grade ELA teachers planned a StarBooks Cafe for their students to sample some books to foster a love for reading.  

SCE is blessed to have Cudd Memorial Baptist Church partner with us this school year.  They are already showing our  faculty and staff lots of love and have brought donuts to help spread some cheer on our first Friday with students. 

We have had such a great start to the school year!  We are excited to watch all of our blue jays take flight and SOAR this year.
