When Mrs. Turner’s 2nd grade class learned about citizenship, they didn’t just learn about it—they put their learning into action!

They helped clean up trash from our playground to make our school a better place. To help our community, they also donated items to a local food bank! Their hard work and kindness earned them their Awesome Citizenship Badge! We are so proud of these citizens and can’t wait to see all the ways they continue to make a difference.

Mrs. Creef and Mrs. Rinda’s 5K friends have been learning all about the letter “A” this week! They turned the letter A into an alligator to go in their alphabet books!

Our first official Jr. Hope Squad meeting was such a great experience. We spent time getting to know one another and discussing ways to spread hope and kindness! What a great way to start our time together in Jr. Hope Squad!

Mrs. Pettit's class started exploring transportation this week. Students enjoyed a hands-on shaving cream activity with cars, buses, boats, and helicopters. They discussed how each type of transportation helps us get from one place to another.
